EN In the spirit to assist the user to make a more informed choice we at ATG® welcome the new EN Standards.
Generally EN Steel standards apply when working in the EU, when working for an EU company (directly or indirectly) or when the country doesn’t specify its own standards but instead uses one of the competing suites of standards ASTM, EN, JIS, GOST – or previously BS and DIN. European Standards (ENs) are based on a consensus, which reflects the economic and social interests of 33 CEN Member countries channelled through their National Standardization Organizations. Most standards are initiated by industry. Standards are part of the knowledge economy that underpins European industry and society. They facilitate innovation and promote the adoption of new technologies.
